Montenegro Ready For War.

New York Times 100 years ago today, August 24, 1912:
Entire Army Called Out and Fighting Proceeds on Frontier.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
    LONDON, Saturday, Aug. 24.— The Daily Chronicle's Constantinople correspondent cables:
    "Fighting is proceeding on the Montenegrin frontier, and both Turks and Montenegrins are conducting operations as if war had been formally declared. Reports have reached the capital to the effect that the loss on both sides is exceedingly heavy.
    "The King of Montenegro has called the whole of his army into the field.
    "The greatest excitement prevails on the frontier.
    "The Russian Ambassador is urging the Government to take steps to settle the quarrel.
