Italians Win, Lose 200 Men.

New York Times 100 years ago today, September 22, 1912:
After a Severe Battle They Put Turks to Flight Near Tripoli.
ROME, Sept. 21.— Another ten-hour battle, resulting in the Italian occupation of the oasis of Zanzour, twelve miles west-southwest of Tripoli, is reported to the Italian War Office by Gen. Rogni.
The Italian losses are given as 200 men killed and wounded, which is evidence of the sanguinary character of the fight. Gen. Rogni says the Turk and Arab losses were large.
