Explosion On Imperator.

New York Times 100 years ago today, April 25, 1913:
Eight Men Badly Hurt — The Ship Not Damaged.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
    LONDON, Friday, April 25.— A Berlin dispatch reports that owing to the careless handling of petrol tins in one of the storerooms of the new Hamburg-American liner Imperator an explosion occurred yesterday afternoon. Eight men were severely injured. The ship was not damaged.
