RIO DE JANEIRO, April 18.— The Navy Department of Brazil will soon commence practical tests of a new aerial invention, the work of an electrical engineer, Torcuato Lamaro, consisting of a torpedo float attached to a hydroaeroplane.
Satisfactory results are said to have been obtained by the inventor in his preliminary experiments. Those who have witnessed the tests say it will prove as successful as its inventor claims, and revolutionize warfare.
