Two Dead On Imperator.

New York Times 100 years ago today, April 26, 1913:
Three More Dying — Explosion Caused by Workman's Cigar Lighter.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
LONDON, Saturday, April 26.— Two men are dead and three dying as a result of the explosion on the new Hamburg liner Imperator on Thursday.
The Daily Telegraph's Berlin correspondent says that the explosion was caused by one of the workmen, who, contrary to rules, filled a cigar lighter from a benzine reservoir. While he was trying to see if it was in working order he burned his fingers, and under the impulse of the moment flung the thing from him. It set fire to the cover of the benzine tank, and, while the workmen were endeavoring to put out the blaze, the reservoir exploded.
