Scutari Archbishop Slain?

New York Times 100 years ago today, April 25, 1913:
Unconfirmed Report of His Assassination Received in Rome.
ROME, April 24.— A report of the assassination of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Scutari, J. Sereggi, has reached Rome, but Cardinal Merry del Val, the Papal Secretary of State, has not communicated it to the Pope, as he wishes to save him any sudden emotion.
No official confirmation of the report of the Archbishop's assassination has been received.
