Big Cruiser For Greece.

New York Times 100 years ago today, August 13, 1912:
German Yard to Build It, Bethlehem Company to Supply Armor.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
    LONDON, Tuesday, Aug. 13.— The London Times correspondent at Athens telegraphs:
    "A contract between the Greek Government and the Vulkan yards in Germany for the construction of a new armored cruiser of 13,000 tons was signed to-day. The vessel is to be delivered in two years' time. The armament and armor plating will be supplied by the Bethlehem Steel Company.
    "The total cost, including the complete equipment, will be £1,240,000, ($6,200,000)."
