And Three Hundred Houses Are Burned In a Turkish Town.
CONSTANTINOPLE, Aug:. 9.— The upsetting of a lamp by a severe earthquake to-day started a conflagration at Chorlu, on the Adrianople line. Three hundred houses have already been destroyed and the fire is still raging.
The shock drove all the inhabitants of this city into the streets, but little damage was done.
