Germans To Shell Agadir?

New York Times 100 years ago today, August 6, 1912:
Report That Cruiser Will Bombard Port Owing to Murder There.
    RABAT, Morocco, Aug. 5.— A German cruiser has, according to a rumor here, been ordered to bombard Agadir, in consequence of the recent murder of a German representing the firm of Mannesmann, which carries on extensive business there.
    Hamid el Hiba, a former pretender to the Moroccan throne, has installed himself in that district as Sultan.
